Cheranmahadevi Kailasanathar Temple

Arulmigu Ammainathar Temple or Cheranmahadevi Kailasanathar Temple is a Hindu temple located at Tirunelveli in Tamil Nadu, India. The primary worshipped here is Lord Shiva in the form of Ammanathar. The shrine is located on the right bank of River Tamirabarani. The Shivling worshipped in this temple is installed by Sage Romasa. This temple is nearly 500 years old. The main festival celebrated here is a 10-day Vaikasi Brahmmotsavam in month of May-June. The other festivals celebrated here are Tirukarthikai in November - December, Maha Shivrathri in February - March, Mrigaseersham, Vaikasi Thiruvadhirai in May-June, Chithirai Brahmmotsavam in April-May, Vinayaka Chaturthi, Panguni Uthiram in March-April, Aadi Kruthikai in June-July, Margazhi Tiruvadirai in December - January, Aipasi Annabishekam in October - November, Navarathri during September - October. Kodaganallur Kailasanathar Temple

Arulmigu Sivakamiyammai Sameda Kailasanadhar Temple or Kodaganallur Kailasanathar temple is a Hindu temple located near Nadukallur in Tamil Nadu. The primary deities worshipped here are Kailasanathar and Goddess Sivakamiammai. Lord Shiva is worshipped here in the form of Kailasanathar and Goddess Shakti is worshipped as Sri Sivakamiammai. This is the third among the nine Nava Kailasam temples. Sub deities worshipped here are Anantha Gowri, Lord Ganesha, Nataraja. Maha Sivarathiri is the main festival which is celebrated grandly here. During this festive occasion a huge crowd reaches the temple for worship. Markali Thiruvathirai and every month Pradhosham are also celebrated here. Gotha Parameswarar Temple Kunnathur or Kotha Parameswarar Temple

Gotha Parameswarar Temple Kunnathur or Kotha Parameswarar Temple is a Hindu temple located at Kunnathur in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, India. The primary deities worshipped here are Lord Shiva and his consort Goddess Parvathi in the form of Kothai Parameswaran and Goddess Sivakamasundari. There is a Snake symbol on the Shivalinga in this temple.This is the fourth among the nine Nava Kailasam temples. The temple is located at top of a small hill. The temple is situated near Tirunelveli Railway Station. The main festivals celebrated here are Mahasivarathri in the month of February-March, Tirukarthikai in the month of November-December, Tiruvadhirai in the month of December-January and  Pradosham. The temple is open from 07:30 am to 10:30 am and 05:00 pm to 6:30 pm.  On Saturdays temples timings are from 06.00 am to 12.00 Noon and 05:00 pm to 08:00 pm. On Fridays temples timings are from 06.00 am to 12.00 Noon and 05:00 pm to 07:00 pm. On festive days there draws a lot of crowd here.

Kailasanathar Temple Murappanadu

Murappanadu Kailasanathar Temple is a Hindu temple at Murappanadu in Tirunelveli District of Tamil Nadu, India. It is on the banks of River Tamirabarni. The primary deities worshipped here are Lord Shiva and his consort Goddess Parvathi in the form of Kailasanathar and Goddess Sivakamiammal. This is the fifth among the nine Nava Kailasam temples. The shrine is also known as Nadu or Middle Kailasam Temple. Here Thamiraparani River flows from North to South. Sub deities worshipped here are Lord Ganesha, Lord Subramanian, Navgrahas, Nataraja and also other forms of Shiva and Shakti. The main attraction of this temple is a Unique Nandi. Nandi worshipped in the temple has the face of a horse. Mahasivarathri in the months of February-March and Guru Peyarachi in new moon or full moon days are the important festivals celebrated here. During festive occasions the temple witnesses a huge throng of devotees. The other festivals celebrated here are Tiruvadhirai in the month of December-January and Tirukarthikai in the month of November-December. The temple is open from 07:00 am to 12:00 Noon and 04:30 pm to 07:30 pm.

Kailasanathar Temple in Srivaikuntam

Kailasanathar Temple in Srivaikuntam is a Hindu temple located at Thoothukudi in Tamil Nadu, India. The primary deities worshipped here are Lord Shiva and his consort Goddess Parvathi in the form of Kailasanathar and Goddess Sivakami. The temple is the sixth temple in the series of Nava Kailasams. The major festivals celebrated here are Brahmotsavam festival in the month of April /May and Aippasi festival in the month of October / November. Other festivals celebrated here are Sivarathri, Arattu festival, Thirukalyanam and Kanthasasthi.  Among these festivals the Thirukalyanam festival is attended by thousands of devotees in the region.The temple is open from 06:00 am to 12:00 Noon and 04:00 pm to 07:00 pm on all days except during festival days when it is open all day.

Kailasanathar Temple Thenthiruperai

Kailasanathar Temple Thenthiruperai  is a Hindu temple located at Thenthiruperai in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu in Southern India. The main deity worshipped here is Sri Kailasanathar, a form of Lord Shiva. The subdeities worshipped here are  Goddess Azhagiya Ponnammai, Lord Ganesha, LordMuruga, Lord Kala Bhairavar. This temple is the 7th Nava Kailasams which is dedicated to the Mercury. Lord Kala Bhairavar in this temple is having six hands and here the Kala Bhairavar is not seen with a dog. Another speciality in this temple is Lord Muruga looks like Sri Shanmuganathar of Thiruchendur with Valli and Devasena. The main festival celebrated here is Mahasivarathri in February-March. Special pujas and rituals are conducted on Shivarathri day in a grand manner. Rajapathy Kailasanathar Temple

Arulmigu Kailasa Nathar Temple or Rajapathy Kailasanathar Temple is a Hindu temple near Tirunelveli in Tamilnadu, India. The primary deities worshipped here are Kailasanathar, Goddess Alagiya ponnamal and Sivakamiammai. The temple is the eighth temple in the series of Nava Kailasams associated with Kethu. Here devotees can only see disfigured Shiva Linga with four wheels on all sides of the Linga. It is said that there is a temple buried under this Linga. This place and temple is regarded as the Kalahasthi of the South. The temple conducts Ketu Parihara pujas between 12:00 am to 01:30 pm on Sundays and between 09:00 am to 10:30 am on Tuesdays with Yajnas. Devotees can participate in this pujas for removal of obstacles in life. Temple is open from 06:00 am to 11:00 pm and 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  The main festivals celebrated here are Margazhi Tiruvadhirai in the month of December-January and Shivrathri in the month of February-March. Monthly Pradoshams and first day of each Tamil month are also celebrated here. During festive occasions the temple draws a huge crowd of devotees. Serndhapoomangalam Kailasanathar Temple

Serndhapoomangalam Kailasanathar Temple or Kailasanathar Templeis a Hindu temple located in Serndhapoomangalam in Tamilnadu, India.This temple is 20km from Thoothukudi. The primary deities worshipped here are Kailasanathar and Goddess Sivakami Ammai, a form of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvathy. The temple is the ninth temple in the series of Nava Kailasams associated with Sukra or Venus. Here devotees can see the idol of Kubera is on an elephant with his two consorts named Sanganidhi and Padmanidhi. This is the only temple with Kubera, the Lord of Wealth in this posture. On the new moon days in the months of July-August and January-February special pujas are dedicated to Lord Kailasanathar here. Maha Shivrathri is the main festival celebrated here grandly.
