Chengannur Shiva Temple Timings. Popularly known as Chengannur Mahadeva Temple, is one of the oldest and famous Shiva temples in Alappuzha district of Kerala. The temple is located in the heart of Chengannur. The temple is also one of the important Goddess temples in Kerala. One of the rare and interesting festival in the temple is the Thriputharattu Festival - which celebrates the menstruation festival for Bhadrakali.

Chengannur Temple opens at 3:50 AM in the morning daily pooja and worship. Devotees are allowed to enter the temple at 4:30 AM. Sree Bali, Usha Pooja, Panthiradi Pooja and Ucha pooja are some of the important pujas in the morning. The temple closes at 11:30 AM after Ucha pooja.
