1) Kataragama Temple or Kathirgamam Murugan Kovil
Kathirkaman Temple is dedicated to Skanda Kumara also known as Kataragama deviyo. Kataragama Temple is located at Kataragama in the Monaragala District of Uva province, Sri Lanka. Kataragama is a pilgrimage town sacred to Hindu, Buddhist and indigenous Vedda people of Sri Lanka. The temple is located 228 km (142 mi) southeast of Colombo.
2) Maviddapuram Kandaswamy Temple
Maviddapuram Kandaswamy Temple is a famous Hindu god Murugan (Skanda) temple located in Jaffna District of northern Sri Lanka. The temple was destroyed and rebuilt several times. The present day temple dates from the 17th century. The temple was declared an archaeological protected monument in December 2011.
3) Nallur Kandaswamy Temple
The Nallur Kandaswamy Kovil is located in Nallur, Northern Province, Sri Lanka. The presiding deity is Murugan (Kartikeya) in the form of the divine spear vel in the sanctum. The major religious festivals are Manjam, Thirukkarthikai, Kailasavahanam, Velvimanam, Thandayuthepani it's a being, Sapparam, Ther festival procession, Theertham – the water cutting festival, and Thirukalyanam – The holy wedding. Ther Thiruvila (chariot festival) is the most popular of all events, huge and heavy chariot carrying the statue of the deity Murugan and consorts is paraded along the streets of the temple.
4) Thirukkovil Temple
Thirukkovil Temple officially known as Thirukkovil Citra Velayudha Swami Kovil is dedicated to Chitravelayudhar, literally "One with elegant spear". The temple is located in Thirukkovil, Ampara District of Eastern Province.
5) Ubayakathirgamam
Ubayakathirgamam is a temple dedicated to the Hindu god Muruga. The temple acquired its name from the prefix Ubaya-, which signifies "second" or "sub" in Tamil. This is due to its recognition as a secondary Kathirgamam (Kataragama) in the country. The temple is located in Jaffna district and can be reached by taking a walk through Vallipuram Road, from Manthikai Junction. Darshan time of the temple in morning is from 07:00 to around 12:00 noon and evening from 05:00 to 08:00 pm.
Ubayakathirgamam Moolavar is a unique Chakkara Yantra that emerged naturally on a pristine white rock. Unlike other Muruga temples, the main deity here is in the form of a Chakkara Yantra, hence the temple is known as "Ubayakathirgamam Sri Chakkara Shanmugar Alayam". The remarkable aspect of this Chakkara Yantra is that it was not crafted by human hands. It is a Suyambu Linga, a sacred manifestation of divinity found in nature on the white rock. Adjacent to the yantra, there are a few projections and letters symbolizing God Vinayagar and the Shakties of Siva. The Wood apple tree, also known as Vilatheeswaran, holds great significance as the Thala Viruksha (sacred tree) of the temple and is believed to possess divine powers.

6) Ukanthamalai Murugan Kovil
Ukanthamalai Murugan Kovil also known as Ukanthai Murugan Kovil, Okanda Devalaya is a famous Hindu temple located in Okanda, Ampara District of Eastern Sri Lanka. The temple dedicated to Lord Murugan in the heart of Kumana forest where devotees perform pilgrimage to Katirkamam through dense jungle.
7) Velakkai Pillaiyar Temple
Manipay Velakkai Pillaiyar Temple is a temple dedicated to Lord Murugan, located in the town of Manipay, Jaffna.
