Sree Banapuram Tripurasundari Devi Temple is situated on the famous Vaniyambalam rock at Vaniyambalam in old Eranad taluk of Malappuram district or Kerala. Tripura Sundari Devi Temples are very less all over India and this is one of the main temples in Kerala where Goddess Tripura Sundari is worshipped.

Sree Banapuram Temple is built on a huge rock about 100 feet high. The main deity is Goddess Lalita Tripura Sundari, Bhagavathy facing west on a very high rock. The popularity of the temple came very recently only after people knowing about the power of the Goddess Tripurasundari.
To the the south of the temple, there is a small pond on top of the rock. It is believed that the pond was formed when the goddess threw the spade in her hand. This perennial pool on top of the rock which never gets dry even in summer is a wonder.
The view of the surrounding from the top of Vaniyamapalam rock is mesmerizing.
The temple is managed by Karikad Devaswam. Aripurathu Mana family memebers are the priests of the temple.

Bus Station: Vaniyambalam village connects to other parts of India through Nilambur town. The nearest bus station is 500 meters from Vaniyambalam on Vandur Kalikav Path.
Airport: The nearest airport is located at Karipur, and another close airport is Coimbatore Airport.
