Vairavan Kovil or Vairavan Swamy Temple in Vairavanpatti is a 500 years old Hindu temple located on the Karaikudi - Madurai road in Sivaganga district of Tamil Nadu, India.

The temple is located very close to (just 2 km away) from the famous Karpaka Vinayakar Temple in Pillayarpatti. The temple, also known as Valaroli Nathar Temple, features a magnificent five-tiered Rajagopuram and enshrines Lord Kala Bhairav and his consort Vadivudai Ammai. Lord Bhairavar is known in Tamil language as Vairavan; from whom the village got its name.

Devotees can see two lizard statues behind the Goddess. Praying to these lizards will remove all doshas and life becomes more good. The main festivals celebrated here are Sambaha Soora Sashti (Chanbaga Soora Shashti), Pillayar Nonbu, Karthikai Deepam festival and Mahasivarathiri in the month of Masi or Phalguna.
Vairavan Kovil is one of the Ashta Bairava Sthalams or the eight temples of Lord Bairavar. The temple has a separate Sannidhi of Lord Dakshinamurthy. The Dakshinamoorthy idol is also carved out of a single stone. The Chandikeshwarar shrine is representative of a cave temple built out of a single rock.
