Ashlesha Bali Puja at Kukke Subramanya Temple in Karnataka is one of the important Kaalasarpa Dosha poojas which can be performed in temple. Aslesha Bali pooja is performed on Aslesha nakshatra according to Hindu calendar. Kukke Subramanya Temple is regarded as an important kshetra for performing Sarpadosha puja. In this temple Lord Subramanya is worshiped as Lord of Serpents and as the protector from Kaalasarpa dosha and Kuja dosha.
Ashlesha Bali Puja in the temple is usually conducted in two shifts – 7:00 AM and 9.15 AM. Devotees performing the pooja are required to perform “sankalpa” with the purohit inside the temple before the poojas starts. After competing the Homa Poornahuthi Puja devotees will get prasad.
