Nava Tirupathi Temples is a group of nine temples dedicated to Lord Vishnu located on the Tiruchendur - Tirunelveli route, Tamil Nadu, India. All these 9 temples are on the banks of Thamiraparani River and are part of the 108 Divya Desams of Mahavishnu. Starting from Tirunelveli or Tiruchendur, all the Navathirupathi Temples can be visited in a day.
The 9 Tirupathi Temples are
1) Sri Mayakoothar Temple in Thirukkulandhai, Perunkulam
2) Makara Nedunkuzhai Kannan Temple, Then Thirupperai
3) Rettai Tirupathi - South Temple, Tholaivillimangalam
4) Rettai Tirupathi North Temple, Tholaivillimangalam
5) Vaithamanidhi Perumal Temple, Thirukolur
6) Adhinaatha Perumal Temple, Thirukkurugur (Azhwar Thirunagari)
7) Kaaisinavendhan Temple, Thiruppulinkudi
8) Vijayaasana Perumal Temple, Thiru Varagunamangai (Natham)
9) Sri Vaikuntanatha (Kallapiran) Temple - Sri Vaikuntam
Festivals
The most important festival celebrated in all these temples is the Garuda Sevai Utsavam in the month of Vaikasi (May - June).
