Goddess Harsiddhi - The Happy Mother Goddess

Goddess Harsiddhi is regarded as an aspect of Hindu Goddess Kalika and Amba.

Goddess Harsiddhi is a form of “Harshad Amba” which literally means The Happy Mother. Harsiddhi Maa is the Kuldevi or Kuladevi of numerous Rajput, Kshatriya, Chandrana clan of Lohanas, and Brahmakshatriyas. She is also worshiped by many Jain, Brahmin and Vaishya castes.

Maa Harisiddhi is worshipped by various names such as Harshal, Harshad, Harshat, Shikotar, Sikotar, Dasha, Momai and Vahanvati Mata. In Pakistan the Goddess is known by the name Sindhoi Mata or Goddess of Sands. A temple of Goddess Sindhoi Mata is located in Sindh province of Pakistan.

Harsiddhi Mata Temples are more commonly found in the Indian states of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. Most popular temples of the goddess are Harshal Mata Temple in Miani, Gujarat, Harsidhhi Mata Temple at Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, Harsidhhi Mataji Temple in Rajpipla, Gujarat.
