Shiva and Krishna Mandir or Hindu Temple in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) is the only Hindu temple complex in the country. The temple caters to a large number of Hindu devotees from India and Sri Lanka working in this Arab and Muslim country. The temple complex consists of a Lord Shiva and Lord Krishna shrine.
The Hindu Temple is situated west of the Dubai Creek near Dubai Museum in Bur Dubai, specifically Al Bastakiya. Interestingly, the temple lies next to a Mosque in the busy Bur Dubai area and is well known for the religious harmony. The temple is maintained in conjunction with the Indian consulate in Dubai. The upper floor of the Shiva Temple in Dubai housed a Gurudwara earlier. The gurudwara has now moved to its new premises located near Jebel Ali.
Shiva Krishna Mandir at Bur Dubai is the only temple in United Arab Emirates for thousands of Hindus working in the seven emirates of UAE – Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah and Ras Al-Khaimah.
The nearest Metro Station to reach Hindu Temple Complex Dubai is the Khalid Bin Al Waleed Station, also known as Burjuman Station.
