Kapileswaraswami Temple is just 3 km to the north of Tirupati at the foot of Tirumala Hills in Andhra Pradesh, India. Devotees visiting Venkateswara Temple make it a point to visit this holy shrine of Mahadeva. Kapila Teertham the sacred waterfall located near the temple makes the shrine more auspicious. Kapila Tirtha is also known as or Alwar Teertham.
Sevas and Festivals
Important sevas performed in the temple include Sahasranama Archana, Nithyabhishekam, Sivaparvathula Kalyanam, Unjal Seva and Rudrabhishekam.
The annual Brahmotsavams are celebrated here in a grand scale. Other Hindu festivals celebrated include Maha Shivaratri, Vinayaka Chavithi, Karthika Deepam, Skanda Sashti, Annabhishekam, Kamakshi Devi Chandana Alankaram, and Devi Navarathri Utsavam.

Kapileswaraswami Temple complex also has sub shrines of Sri Vinayakar Temple, Lakshminarayana Swamy Temple, and Sri Venugopala Swamy Temple.
