Utpatti Ekadasi Vrat, also known as Utpanna Ekadashi, falls on Krishna Paksha in Margashirsha Month (November – December) of North Indian calendars. The corresponding month in other Hindu calendars is Karthik masam in Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka and Maharashtra and Vrishchika month in Kerala calendars. Utpatti Ekadasi is regarded as the auspicious day for those who wish to start observing monthly Ekadasi fasting. This year, Uttpatti Ekadasi 2023 is observed from 8th December.
