Srikalahasti Temple is one of the five Panchabhoota Temples of Lord Shiva situated at Sri Kalahasti town in Andhra Pradesh, India. Pancha Bhoota temples are the shrines dedicated to the 5 elements Earth (Bhoomi), Wind (Vayu), Fire (Agni), Space and Water. This Lord Shiva temple is popularly known as Dakshina Kailasam. The name of the temple Srikalahasti comes from three animals, Sri for spider, Kala for snake and Hasti for elephant who worshipped Lord Shiva at this place. Srikalahasti is a place where vayu is felt.
Srikalahasti Temple is around 43 km from the famous Tirupati Venkateshwara Temple of Lord Vishnu.
