Dear Friend,
DeleteThe confusion occured because the date of Hanuman Jayanti varies in different regions.
The date you provided is correct according to Tamil Panchangam. In Tamilnadu, Hanuman Jayanti is observed in Margazhi month (December - January).
While in Andhra Pradesh, the date is on 15th May 2012.
