The Sarkara Devi Temple Pongala Festival 2024 date is on 14 February, Wednesday. Sarkaradevi Temple is a famous Goddess Bhadrakali Temple situated at Sarkara village, in Chirayinkeezhu, around 33 km north of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

Sarkaradevi Temple Pongala festival will be held on the 1st day of the Malayalam month of Kumbham. Usually the pongala festival was held on the annual Kaliyoot Festival day. However after the Devaprasnam the temple authorities decided to change the Pongala day to 1st Kumbam every year.
Chirayinkil Railway Station is the nearest railway station to reach Sarkara Temple. Regular state transport buses are available from Attingal (6 km), Kaniyapuram and Thiruvananthapuram bus station.
