Konark Temple, also known as Black Pagoda, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1984 and is one of the most famous Hindu temples in India. Dedicated to Lord Surya, the Sun Temple of Konark is constructed in the form of a huge chariot which is drawn by seven spirited horses. The temple is also noted for its intricate stone carvings, the exquisitely decorated ornamented wheels, and freestanding pieces of sculptures.

Here is the picture of one of 24 carved wheels of the huge chariot of Konark Sun Temple. The chariot form of temple features 12 pairs of wheels which represents the 12 months of the year. Each chariot features eight spokes.
